"Really nice down home food. Hot sandwiches with great gravy over. Club sandwich as good as it gets. Really nice deck facing the biggest sandpiper you've ever seen, and an old jail you can stay in overnite.Milkshake well priced and delicious at a fair price. Real nice folks running it."

"Chrispy chicken sandwick was delicious! Love the Village Square. Usually have the chicken wings but the fish and chips is rock solid and the chrispy chicken sandwich was spot on. So glad to have this spot in Dorchester"

"Was there tonight and had the fish and chips they were amazing. The fish was big and cooked perfectly. We had the curley fries and those were fantastic. Definitely a gem and worth the stop."

"These were the freaking best fish and chips I've ever had. It was fresh, extremely crispy, and not oily. The service was so fast and the staff were pleasantly chatty. What a great place to stop at for a bite. My boyfriend and I shared a single order (2 pieces of fish and homefried) with 2 scoops of icecream for dessert ($18 total) and we were satisfied."

"A quaint little village spot in Dorchester between Memramcook and Sackville. It did not disappoint but it also did not have anything to go above and beyond. I had a poutine and pickle spears (pictured). Lots of gravy on the poutine and you get a large portion of dipping sauce for the pickles (like 3.5 oz compared to most places with 2oz or less). For a long weekend, it was pretty quiet there (I visited on Sunday August 3). Wish they had more opportunities for people to come and always be busy as the fries were delicious and the prices included taxes. It’s mostly takeout but they do have a few tables inside and outside."

"Cute little restaurant with very friendly staff/owners. Had the poutine with fresh cut fries option and they were amazing! Very tasty! Gravy was great and they used real cheese curds. Very large portion as well. On a return visit, the poutine was just as good if not better ! And service was amazing! Staff very friendly and brought my poutine right outside for me while I was walking across the street."

"On a motorcycle ride in the area, we only stopped in for the best homemade fries in the area, they didn't let us down. A generous portion of golden brown fries. Great atmosphere. It was a weekday Wednesday October 18 and surprisingly busy. A very clean establishment"
